    @fiddalessonsgmail-com Hi Casey, I was wondering if you know of any feedback from the footwork lesson that Andre teaches? I am sure I need to give this more time, but how long should this take to catch on? I can’t play fiddle at the same time. Just singing and footwork is the most I can do. But, I will keep at it!!! Thanks very much!

      I haven’t received any feedback yet related to André’s footwork lessons….that said, I can’t talk or do much of anything else when I’m playing fiddle…so I have a feeling that you almost need to develop the footwork separately as a skill that requires no active thought…then add it in.

      • That’s a great answer….practice the footwork enough so that it is subconscious effort. I will go with that. Knowing my focus is limited as well, because most tunes takes every ounce of attention I can give, this will be a challenge.     Wow! Thank you so much for your instruction. I have been playing for a month now and i am doing much better than i ever expected. I have two basic tunes down and they actually sound like the song! My wife does not have that look on her face anymore and the dogs don’t howl as often!!
