Hi, Robert. Thanks for the heads up. There was a simple coding thing that was preventing those links from opening. Should be fixed now, sir. Enjoy the tune, and just let me know if you experience any other issues.
Cheers!!

Hi, David.
Good suggestions. We’ll add them to the running list of possible tunes for new sessions. Have you checked out Kevin’s version of The Kesh Jig?

Hi there, Laura.
I ran this by Hanneke this morning, and she literally said that either way is fine – no right or wrong way to do it in her opinion.
I can tell you that occasionally in the Texas style & Old-Time styles of fiddling, players will end a tune on the relative minor…e.g. Em out of G.

Sounds like a winner, Morris.
We’ll get some guitar tracking going for Andre’s stuff and see if we can’t round out his lesson offerings on the site. We have a couple of lessons from Kevin and Hanneke in front of his, but agreed.
Cheers!

Thanks for the input, Shawn. I’ll take a look at those lessons and see about bumping them up the list for guitar tracking/prioritisation. Andre really is something else. Truly a musical genius.
Excited to bring these (and many more tunes from other instructors) to the site, sooner rather than later.

Hi, Shawn.
Thanks for joining up…and agreed that the content is targeted towards folks who already know the basics of fiddling.
Under normal circumstances, you could expect 2-4 new lessons per month to be published. That said, I am unfortunately away from the production side of things for the next 6-8 weeks. We may be tackling a website…[Read more]

Howdy, Ban.
Thx for the note. Traveling right now but will recode those vids here by the end of the week.
On what device are you experiencing the freeze? That will help me in figuring out what the issue might be.
Cheers!!

Howdy, Laura.
Sounds like you’re really diving in on the subtleties of Scottish playing…great stuff!
Have you checked out this video? That might help??
I’m no expert on the whole Scottish thing, but if you’re starting out on a down bow and using 8 strokes to create a grove over a reel measure, that fourth beat you will want to emphasis…[Read more]

Hi, Hailer.
Good stuff…and welcome to the site!!
I’ll pass these thoughts onto the folks who handle that coding. That definitely sounds like it would take some development to add, but we’re always looking for ways to improve the user experience…
If you’re using a phone or a tablet to view lessons, you might try accessing the site from a…[Read more]
