How does one take a section of a tune and loop it so as to practise it until he/she knows it. What settings should I use?

This is my first post. I like the broad spectrum of tunes. When I attempt to learn a new tune, I listen to the entire tune and then print the sheet music. Then I study the sheet music to get the timing and hum it to myself. Then I go to the basic video and follow it by reading the music and humming, the phrase while bowing and…[Read more]-
Great Job Ed, A folk trick of longstanding tradition is to be able to hum the tune first… as the saying goes…”The tune has to be inside before it can go to the outside.” Keep up the good work it gets easier the more you play. Thanks for posting, Roland White Forum Moderator
