Jean’s Reel
Jean's Reel is a Trad Scottish reel composed by Scottish accordion player Bobby MacLeod. Mr. Macleod wrote the tune in the key of F, but Natalie MacMaster recorded it in the key of G on her album "Fit as a Fiddle", and many contemporary fiddle players now play it in the key of G. It's a four part reel, and get ready...it moves right along! Hanneke Cassel walks us through her basic and advanced arrangement of the tune in this lesson module...Check out the tutorial videos below! Sign up today to take advantage of the whole lesson.
