Hi fiddlevideo,

So I had a question that I wanted you all’s opinion on. On another fiddle instruction website I used in the past, they had a video exchange program where when the student felt they has mastered the song, they would either send in a recording or a video of them playing the song. They would then receive feedback and advice from the instructors. Do you think that might be a future possibility for this website?

Hi, Fiddleman. I’ve discussed this possibility with my partner teachers, and they are unfortunately not able to commit to reviewing student videos at this time. However, I’m happy to review any video you would like to submit. I would limit that offer to my tunes, as I wouldn’t be qualified to provide feedback on other instructors’ tunes.

If you are interested in feedback on any of the tunes I teach on this site, you can just upload the video to YouTube and post a link to it here in the forum. I’ll tell you what I think, sir.
