Valse de Chef du Gare / The Station Master’s Waltz- which I know is not Irish, but was on a cd he played on.

OK, Fiddlevideo members. I wanted to update everyone to say that we had an amazing series of studio sessions with Master Trad Irish fiddler Kevin Burke this past weekend. Kevin was in rare form and did a great job teaching 25 NEW FULL LESSONS!!! In addition to these 25 new tunes, Kevin also taught a couple of new technique tutorials.
The good news is you have these lessons to look forward to as a member…the other good news is that we still have quite the backlog of Hanneke Cassel and Patti Kusturok lessons to produce as well.
Which means that we’ll start in on a rotation of producing a few lessons from each artist at a time. Take a look below to see the full listing of lessons Kevin Burke recorded at the Fiddlevideo studios this past weekend:
The Flowers of Red Hill
Tailor’s Twist
Some Say the Devil is Dead
George White’s Favorite
Soggy’s (Slip Jig)
The Green Groves of Erin

Paddy Fahey’s Reel

Miss McCloud’s Reel (key of G)

How to pair tunes in a set. That’s it, guys. Thanks again for being Fiddlevideo.com members. Fiddle on!!!!

Greetings FV members,
in honor of Master Kevin’s recent visit with all the recording and future tunes to look forward to I found this great Video of Kevin and Michael O’Domhnaill in their younger years playing a lively set of reels in a concert.
I love the flowing tempo of the tunes and the effortless style they both demonstrate while playing this lovely set of tunes. Enjoy! Roland
