In the middle of the advanced tutorial on Cotton Patch Rag, around the fourteen minute mark, Casey talks about doing the double shuffle in the middle section of Cotton Patch Rag. He says if you don’t know how to do the double shuffle, watch the video on it. I can’t find any video called “double shuffle” so it must be contained in one of the videos with a different title. Hi, Craig. Sorry for the confusion, sir. I’m referring to Hokum Bowing (I’ve also heard it referred to as the Double Shuffle). There are actually two lessons that might be helpful to you.
I didn’t think about the fact that the lessons are titled using the other term for the technique…I’ll update the descriptions in those lesson pages so others can find them using the search function. Below are links to the two videos.
