Forked Deer
Forked Deer is a traditional breakdown in the key of D. This version of the tune contains an interesting accidental note in the first part, so keep a lookout for that. The melody is great for beginners, but you can add quite a bit to it to make it stand out. Casey Willis breaks down a basic and advanced version in this lesson module.
To learn a more Texas style version of this same tune from Megan Lynch Chowning, check out this lesson: Forked Deer.
