Cool to have you part of this @meganlc. Will be great to add some Bluegrass to my Celtic. Cheers.
Thank you so much! I’m having a blast being a part of Fiddle Video. Happy to help add bluegrass to your fiddling horizons!
Love hooked bowing and this is a great lesson. Thanks for doing both the A and B parts of Angeline the Baker!
Yay! You know I believe in you and your hook bowing. Keep at it!
I think this lesson is great!
I’ve played Angeline for years but never with the idea of hook bowing; I would love to learn more of Angeline the Baker played with your style — would you consider a lesson on Angeline the Baker emphasizing hook bowing?
Hi, Louis.
We’ll add ATB to Megan’s request list…she may choose to teach her version in a future recording session. All the best!
I’m so glad you like the lesson, Louis. You know, as Casey said, we’ll add Angeline to the list and maybe I can find a way to teach it in several fun styles, including hook bow-based. Good idea!
That hook bowing really spoke to my heart! Thank you. I’m inspired.
Hi Megan! So what is the definition of hook bowing?
There are two notes articulated on the one bow, but does the second one have to be a double stop??
Why is it called a hook bow?
By the way , it sounds great!
