Hanneke,
Us banjo folks call a reverse hammer on a pull off – just saying. I really enjoy your videos and those of Casey. I once attended one of your workshops at Fiddle Hell and I got so much out of the way you presented the material.
Probably being a little picky, but I just went through all of your technique videos just to make sure I was up to speed with your nomenclature etc. and found the same minute plus redundant and decided to slide the time to when you started the next grace note, etc.
Great job!!

Hi Jim. Agreed on the intro…in retrospect we could have done it differently, but it is what it is at this point. Thanks for the feedback, and keep fiddling!!
Hanneke, you’re such a delight in the way you teach and present. Thank you for your amazing work and commitment to teach! All your videos are so very helpful!
I had the privilege of attending a Valley of the Moon in 2006 with my brother. What a blast! We were in the intermediate group, but haven’t consistently continued to play as life and making a living got in the way. (I’m committed to picking it up again now and to continue.) You taught piano at that camp, and were a strong and important presence with fiddle and the fun that helped make it such an incredible experience. I hope to attend more in the near future, and learn of more opportunities of camps and sessions to participate. You’re an amazing fiddler! Thank you!
Hi, Kris. I’ll pass these kind words on to Hanneke. Cheers!
